Japan – the island nation is famous for many things. The first developed country in Asia despite adverse geographical conditions, the oldest empire existing on earth, the land of rising sun, Japanese tea ceremony Sado, Sushi the national dish, the great Samurai warriors, the gigantic Sumo wrestlers and above  all “Made in Japan” robots. Its technology had made it an iconic nation.

I was amazed to see many marvels of science and technology during my recent visit to Tokyo Science Center. What impressed me most was apart from being a research and training center for healthcare professionals it offers many novel modes of training like using realistic organ models for endoscopic surgery and cardiovascular disease treatment in an effort to introduce its cutting edge medical devices and technological advancement to the whole world enabling the healthcare professionals to enhance their knowledge and skills in treating patients across the globe for unmet medical needs making it a modern day monastery of wisdom.

I really appreciate Japan’s technological prowess and its noble contribution to humanity by inventing novel machines for betterment of society and well-being of humanity. It was tough for me to say sayonara while departing from Tokyo.

Technology is a gift of God. After the gift of life it is perhaps the greatest of God's gifts. It is the mother of civilizations, of arts and of sciences.

An Evening in Paris

An Evening in Paris Travelling around the world was always fascinating and indeed a dream for me being an intrepid explorer. As a child I used to travel within the state and was very excited whenever I came across unique places. As I grew up I could travel to different states and felt even happier to see the diversity. I wondered if India itself has so much of diversity within the country how interesting would it be to explore the world outside. My first journey outside India started with Malaysia followed by Indonesia, Singapore, Tokyo, Bangkok and Hong Kong. I travelled down to different countries in ASPAC, interacted with people and tried to understand their culture, customs and civilization. Bhoot -The ghost

A rainy night, thunderstruck in the sky, suddenly the door of a big desolate Purani Haveli (old Mansion) opens. Sounds of the animals can be heard from the nearby forest. In the darkness of new moon night suddenly a lady with white Saree appears. She turns her face while she walks towards the Haveli. I remained amok to see her eyes red like fire balls, teeth like the vampire and her face feelings reflected as if she was blood thirst. Who are you? I asked shivering in the rain. Bhoot, I am a ghost she replied. I got goose bumps. The so called ghost lady started narrating her pathetic story impulsively. I was a young beautiful and charming girl famous across the village Rangadhampetha. My father was a peasant and we were dependent on a piece of land which was adjacent to the Village heads property.
